tintypes and ambrotypes

These are the images I made at the wet plate collodion workshop. Finally dry and scanned. Thanks to the other workshop members for sitting for me! And my brother Vince, of course.

This last one is the only glass negative/ambrotype that I made. Next time I do this I am going to make more glass negatives, they are such lovely objects.

So I just bought the 5D Mark II fancy-pants camera. It was time for an upgrade in the digital realm. I have to say, while it is nothing like my 4x5...it is nothing like my 4x5 -- in a fun way.
